Every May, Noosa Australia is host to a number of excellent festivals as part of Mayfiesta. These festivals include the Celebration of Australian Food and Wine in Noosa Queensland, the Long Table Dinner in Eumundi and the Global Food Festival in Noosaville. Rock’n’Tewantin is a celebration of all things rock’n’roll and the Noosa Riverfest Regatta celebrates the Noosa river – all as part of the Noosa Mayfiesta.

The Noosa Regatta is three full days of rowing, sailing, fishing, and family entertainment at the Noosa Yacht and Rowing Club in Gympie St, Noosaville.

Sit back on the deck of the Noosa Yacht and Rowing Club enjoying the balmy Noosa weather and watch one of the many sailing and rowing regattas on the Noosa River on the Sunshine Coast. Cheer on the rowing eights as they compete against the mighty Noosa ferry to see who is the fastest.

Enjoy the music from one of the many bands throughout the Noosa event and let the kids enjoy a wide range of activities put on for their amusement. Wander through the boat show to dream about your next boat or tinny. Pick up a Sunshine Coast map to work out boat ramps in the area to launch your new purchase.

The Noosa River festival is not just about what floats on the water, but what is in it. Take part in one of the many fishing competitions at Noosa on the Sunshine Coast while the kids enjoy a fishing lesson from master fishermen.
