Noosa, Australia in May is “the” place to be, holding a whole series of Noosa festivals. The Noosa MayFiesta was originally designed to take advantage of off-peak accommodation and still warm Sunshine Coast weather through attracting visitors to the area for each Noosa festival. These festivals are held in towns across the Sunshine Coast map to highlight different aspects of the Sunshine Coast.

For all things food during the Noosa May Fiesta, visit the Celebration of Australian food and wine, Noosa style. Mingle with the top chefs, food makers and wine makers while you take a class, follow a food trail or enjoy the result of guest chefs in local Noosa and Sunshine Coast restaurants.

Sample the delights at the Global Food Festival stalls scattered along Thomas Street, Noosaville or the great local produce at the Long Table Dinner at the Eumundi Food Festival.

Not all the Mayfiesta events are around food. If you hanker for a by-gone age of rock’n’roll, then put on your bobby socks and rock down to Rock’n’Tewantin for 10 days of dance, concerts and hot rods.

You can join in or watch the Noosa Blue water swim at Noosa Heads or try your hand at Latin style salsa dancing and enjoy the Latin musical rhythms as part of the Noosa Harbour Mayfiesta event in Noosa Queensland.
